Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how KOLScout handles information when you visit our website or use the KOLScout desktop application (the “App”). The App is designed to process your creator CSV locally and write results back to that file.

Google Sheets is optional. CSV mode does not require Google sign-in. If you connect Google Sheets, the App uses Google OAuth to read and write the spreadsheet you select.

1. Information the App processes

Creator CSV and results. The App reads the CSV file you select on your computer and writes recognized email results into that same file. The App does not upload your CSV or its results to KOLScout.
Public profile pages. The App requests the TikTok profile URLs listed in your CSV so it can inspect publicly available profile information. Those requests go to TikTok, not to a KOLScout-hosted scraping service. TikTok may receive your device’s network information and handle requests under its own privacy policy.
License verification. When you enter a license key, the App sends that key and a device identifier to our Supabase license service. The service checks the key and binds it to the first device that activates it. After activation, the App stores the key in the operating system's credential store so it can verify the license again at the next launch. The key is not stored in the App's ordinary configuration files.
Google Sheets. This optional mode uses Google OAuth to access the spreadsheet you select. The App reads profile rows and writes scraping results to that spreadsheet. When Google Sheets is connected, the App sends the connected Google email, license key, and device identifier to our Supabase license service to record which Google account was used on that licensed device. OAuth tokens are stored locally on your computer. KOLScout does not receive your Google password, sell Google data, or use it for unrelated purposes.
Update checks. Tagged release builds request a public version.json manifest from our Supabase-hosted download service to check for a newer App version. Supabase may receive standard connection information such as your IP address. The App does not download or install updates automatically.

2. Website and service-provider information

Our website is a static site and currently does not offer KOLScout account registration. Like most websites, the hosting provider and network services needed to deliver the site may process standard connection information, such as an IP address, browser details, and request logs.

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. A request for those fonts may disclose connection and browser information to Google. We do not currently use the website to run advertising or analytics tracking.

Supabase processes license-verification and update-check requests for us. TikTok independently processes requests made to its service. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies and terms.

3. Google data

Google Sheets mode requests the Google Sheets permission needed to read and update the spreadsheet you select, plus permission to identify the connected Google email. The App does not request broad Google Drive access. You can revoke Google access in your Google Account settings, switch accounts in the App, or delete the locally stored OAuth token.

We use the connected email only to record the Google account used with the licensed device, provide account status, and support account switching. We do not sell Google data or use it for unrelated advertising.

4. Why we use information

We use license and device information only to validate licenses, bind a license to a device, prevent unauthorized reuse, and respond to license-service problems. The App processes the selected CSV to perform the task you requested. We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention and deletion

CSV files and scraped results remain on your computer, and you can remove them there. License records may be kept while needed to administer an active or disabled license, prevent misuse, and maintain business records. Hosting, network, or service providers may retain operational logs according to their own retention practices.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by our license service. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep your license key private and keep backups of important CSV files.

7. Children

KOLScout is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the website or App.

8. Changes and contact
